Small but well worth reading,
Belle Walker is a young human woman that lives on a planet with many non-humans her society considers monsters. A long time before she was born, a ship bearing her public reached the planet everywhere they are now settled. They worked out a deal to have a small area of land for themselves break from the native beings. Up in anticipation of now, the two groups have lived entirely apart.
Among human society on the planet, girls are auctioned off to the highest bidder at age eighteen. Here is no marriage. Now it is Belle’s turn to be bid on, but the unexpected happens. One of the so called “monsters” appears and wins her for his own. Though she resists going with the weird and forbidding man, he takes her anyway. From that point on her life changes in ways she never imagined. Perhaps the monsters aren’t reasonably what her public believed, but Belle learns the hard way here is no escape. She must overcome her fears and adjust to a sexual environment she has never imagined. If she manages it, captivity may very well be the thing that sets her wild heart free.
This is a well written, quick paced novella that will keep you rotary pages in anticipation of the end. The situations feel real and explore the thought of alien-human bonding on a deep level. Even as the tale is based on fantasy, you can’t help but be swept up into the psychology of how a person would react to such a situation. Particularly a woman of strong will. If you take pleasure in erotica, are not averse to reading about dominance and submission, and like a sci-fi twist, this may just be the book for you. Some public may consider this tale too small, but I reckon it covers everything it needs to. Heavy world building isn’t necessary as the focus is on Belle’s relationship to her alien captors. It does this well and doesn’t need much more elaboration.
I have read all of Kitty Thomas’ books and now download them as soon as she announces their release. She has never failed to impress me, regardless of the setting she choses. Her books are not for everyone, but those who take pleasure in erotica that doesn’t just explore the physical aspects, but also the psychological, will appreciate her work. It outclasses the rest of its genre by a mile.

|Not worth the price.,
It started off with a basic tale. The young and also innocuous young woman is kidnapped off the street and sold in an auction to the huge terrible scary “Alpha” alien. He is so terrible, yet so excellent… With only 54 pages it falls apart quick. This could easily have passed as brainteaser to a new book.
***SPOILERS (maybe) ***
What bothered me is that at the end of the book she lost her sparkle…her personality. She has no fight left in her and all she wants to do is please her Master. “He really does like me the most, but I know that it’s also his job to share his sex with other women too.”
And I get it; they all have really enormous, gigantic, fantastic, huge, large… “rods”.
My PG metaphor for this tale: Our tale starts as we see a group of ALIEN men with a huge battering ram trying to get through a tiny small door. After a lot of effort and sweet talking they finally break down the door. They celebrate with a modest amount of playtime that of course always ends with an explosion.

I felt like I was reading an educational guide on how to approach having sex with the kidnapped woman who might find it hard to accommodate their fantastic size. The sex was uncomfortable and rather mechanical in nature.
But it’s “What Master likes…”
