An absolutely wonderful exploration of the fluidity of gender,
Giselle Renarde is a wonderful author with an instinctive flair for writing realistic font to whom readers can easily relate. No matter how fantastic or commonplace the setting, her font draw us in, make us feel welcome, and gently encourage us to take pleasure in ourselves. The settings and storylines of Future Histories are certainly among the most fantastic Giselle has written, and the exploration of gender and sexuality is both deeper and broader than ever before. Once again, it’s the font who encourage us to embrace the new and the unusual, as opposed to being distanced or alienated by it.
Overall, the themes here are of fluidity and choice. Gender and sexuality are neither only attributes of birth, nor the product of societal conditioning. Instead, they are deeply personal aspects of individual self, as wondrous and as diverse as the public expressing them. These are tales that entertain and arouse, but they are also tales that make you reckon. I loved each and every one of them, and sincerely hope you’ll take a opportunity on sharing that joy.

|Sensual, Sexy, and Fun,
I don’t read erotica, but this seemed so uncommon, I couldn’t pass it up. Future Histories was not all sex, all the time. It was sensual and sexy when it happened, and when it wasn’t happening, here was futuristic sci-fi greatness. The endings of the tales felt a bit abrupt at times and the third tale in fastidious was lacking something that I can’t reasonably pinpoint. All in all, if you’re looking for something uncommon but don’t want to feel like you’re reading porn, then I say give this a try. You might like it.
