Cool!,
In science fiction, when one thinks of space travel through vast distances, here are usually three methods of travel. First is Quicker Than Set alight (FTL) speed. Second is through Wormholes. Third is hibernation in space, everywhere the passengers are in deep sleep even as a skeleton crew operates the ship. The small tale ColdSleep focuses on this third method of space travel, specifically what can go incorrect with it.
The author weaves a very tight tale from the perspective of the captain of a supply vessel, making an eleven months run from Earth to a space colony called Liberty. As the tale moves along, the reader is peppered with hints here and here that something is very incorrect on the train the ship. The wrongness finally comes to set alight at the very end of the tale. . .
One may look at the Product Description and reckon 6300 words is too small a tale to consider reading. But you must entrust in Boulter and realize, once you read ColdSleep, that the tale length is perfect. ColdSleep is highly recommended for fans of the author.
