Wow. I thought it would be excellent, but I didn’t reckon it would be this excellent! Everywhere ever Darcy ends up, it’s got to be better than that crappy office surrounded by buffoons. It was very excellent, very small, and certainly leaves you wanting more. Since it’s described as a ‘prequel to the 1st in a series’, I am completely, 100%, on the edge of my seat waiting for the 1st novel to come out. Gayle Ramage is certainly an author to watch.

A wicked small tale and prequel to a first novel that I’m really looking forwards to reading. Both chilling and scifi at the same time.
This (being a small tale) gives us a glimpse of the kind of unique and quirky tales that I reckon Gayle is going to write.

The tale introduces Darcy, and her mundane life, that is about to dramatically change the moment she is witness to a bizarre crime whilst she is grabbing a quick cigarette. this is a tale that leaves you wanting to read what happens next. Who were those weird character that she met? Why did they have to commit the crime?

Certainly worth a read if you like mysteries and scifi.
