My only protest is with the voice of the woman who played Matthew’s mother in this, she had a somewhat irritating voice that was tedious to listen to. Shame they could not have used someone with a uncommon voice/accent to play the mother. That aside, everything else about this radio production was fantastic. I loved the 3 DVD set of the TV series of Chocky featuring James Hazeldine as the father, but I thoroughly loved this radio play also. It is nice to be able to just relax and listen to the events unfolding and let your imagination make the visuals. My favourite so far, of the Classic Sci-fi radio plays.
