This review is from: Castle: Richard Castle’s Deadly Storm (Hardcover)

I readily admit to being a die-hard Castle fan, and I’ll buy anything that comes out with Castle’s name on it. The tale was about what I expected from a Richard Castle plot – a small over the top, kind of goofy, and doesn’t take itself very seriously, but still well-written and entertaining. The art, not surprisingly, was flawless; I wouldn’t expect less from Brian Michael Bendis. I’d like to see more of the Derrick Storm novels come out, whether in text or in visual novel form.

I’m so glad I prearranged this comic book! The art work is incredible, the tale is fantastic and I reckon it was very smart of ABC to publish a Derrek Storm visual novel. It’s fantastic to have a condensed version of Deadly Storm and I really hope they make a Derrek Storm comic book series. A must have for Castle fans. It’s a fantastic addition to my DVD and Nikki Heat collection.

Life is too small to spend too much time watching TV, but “Castle” has be converted into a favorite, probably because I, too, am a professional writer — although not a mystery writer like the fictitious Richard Castle. It has been amusing to read the novel spin-offs from the TV show, and now this unique comic book version, which is amusing, attention-grabbing and entertaining. A fine addition to my overgrown book case.
